How will 4x800m Relay teams qualify for state?
- The top two teams from each district meet enter a state pool of teams
- From the above pool of teams, the sixteen teams with the best times from district
are selected
How can the 4x800m relay be scheduled at the state meet?
Heats in this event would probably be a bad idea for various reasons. Other states
run a direct 4x800m relay final in the form of a fast section and slow section.
These races might be run after the 3000m finals scheduled on friday.
